OK, so this blog went from celebrating its 6th year anniversary to being dormant for an entire month! Ummm… Sorry ah!
For whatever reason, I had super early meetings/calls/travel every single Wednesday last month, so the Tuesday nights before (the night I usually work on these blogs) was used to go bed early. I have something tomorrow morning again, but it’s been long enough! My two readers need me! 😛
Anyway, sorry for the unintentional hiatus. We back yo. Let’s do this!

My New AroundHawaii.com Article: Bubble Tea Mania!
We continue our epic bubble tea journey with 5 more milk tea establishments located in town. We found out about Dragon Tea after the wife saw her friend post a drink photo on Instagram. Since we hardly ever go to Waiks, we thought it would be some time until we got to visit and taste what Dragon Tea had to offer. Luckily, my clothing company (VH07V) got the wonderful opportunity to vend at the popular Waikiki SPAM Jam festival again, so we decided to grab a hotel at the Outrigger Waikiki for the weekend to have a mini staycation since we would be there anyway…
* Spotted!
Super talented ukulele duo Honoka & Azita posted another crazy video to their YouTube channel on Monday, this time, covering the popular song “Wipeout”. The girls look awesome thanks in large part to their schooling at Ukulele Hale and the filming/editing magic of Shibby Stylee!

For those of you who don’t know (which is probably all of you because I don’t expect this to be in any of your calendars! LOL!), this World Wide Ed blog recently turned 6 years old! Crazy yeah? My very first blog here was entitled “Aloooooha!” and made its debut on the then Honolulu Advertiser on April 28, 2008. 2008! Hoooo, da old!
Anyway, no need bake me one cake or anything. Just send cash. 😛
Thanks for sticking with me for all of these years. You guys have seen me get married, have two kids, and start a clothing company all through this blog so it means a lot that you folks still read and comment from time to time. It’s not easy sometimes to keep on keepin’ on, but just knowing that you’re out there helps to motivate me to stay up late to put these things together. 🙂
Anyway, nuff wit da mush. Let’s get to da pics! 🙂

I’m stoked to announce a new and exciting partnership between VH07V and a meeeeaaan local videographer named ShibbyStylee. If you’re at all familiar with the DevinSuperTramp Youtube channel, then you’ll love what this local boy is doing at the grassroots level. Using the beauty of Hawaii as his backdrop, “Shibby’s” videos have one part thrill/adrenaline/athleticism and one part eye candy, all with a hand-picked, catchy song and in HD quality to boot! Bruddah is putting Hawaii on the map and it’s only a matter of time before he’s a household name! Here’s our first project together, which already has over 5,000 views in less than a week!
SPOTTED: Waimea Bay Cliff Jump – VH07V by ShibbyStylee
* VH07V at the 11th Annual Waikiki SPAM Jam
Our VH07V booth at last month’s SPAM Jam was absolutely NAHTS (in a good way)! We sold out of ALL of our new stuff (racerbacks, “Tron” design, etc.) and was practically wiped out in everything else we brought, particularly in Size L and XL! Needless to say, it was a good day…
* New stock
We’ve placed our re-order for everything we were low and sold out on, so we should be fully stocked again in the next week or so. Apologies to those who have been trying to order online, but we didn’t have your size(s).

Welcome to the last Wednesday of the month. Fast yeah?
So far this year, I’ve been having some pretty good (dumb?) luck. I took first place in our 2013 body fat competition, split our office pool for the Masters Golf Tournament (much love Adam Scott!), received my largest individual order to date for VH07V (from a Japanese distributor!), and have returns scheduled for both my federal AND state taxes! Anyone like rub my belly and go Vegas with me? 8)
Like last week, photos 1 & 2 may be a little challenging, but 3 is duck soup! Go get um!
Iron Man 3?
Iron Man 3 opens next week Friday, May 3rd. Who’s going? Oceanic Time Warner Cable will be giving away tickets to the advance screening of Iron Man 3 (May 1) on their Facebook Page this week. Keep your eyes peeled for that. 🙂

What happened on Monday in Boston is sad and angering. It goes without saying. I really hope they find and punish the person/people involved with this terrible, terrible act. Please help me pray for those families going through hurt and loss right now…

In case you missed it, I’m taking your questions for my future interview with local boy turned pro football beast Chad Owens. The Honolulu Star-Advertiser recently released their ballot for their popular “Hawaii’s Best People’s Choice Awards” for 2013. One of the categories is “Moving Service” and, as the lil’ bro to the best big sister around (Minna Sugimoto), I felt it was my obligation to help her company get votes for this contest. 🙂
Not sure if they are still printing the ballots, but if you can find one (this one was in Monday’s paper), please do me a solid and vote for Island Movers under the Moving Service category of this Hawaii’s Best contest! I am told that they are accepting votes postmarked today as the last day (no online way to vote as far as I know), so please vote, vote, vote! Much mahalos!
